Ciara & John and their soon to be bundle of joy ;)

I met with Ciara and John on a very rainy day up in Killiney but the rain didn't put them off one bit! These guys were such great sports, up for posing under rain soaked trees and even kneeling and sitting in the grass! They are such a lovely couple and I wish them lots of happiness when they welcome their precious baby into the world in about 9 weeks time :)

Cathy & Bart's sweet engagement session at home!

I know I say all my couples are amazing and I can't wait for their big days but that's because it's true! Cathy and Bart are no exception. I can't wait to capture their big day in August.
I got a chance to catch up with them and their kids Kitty and Ripley at home, where I took some snaps of them all having fun and relaxing. They are such a lovely family and I can't wait (I said it again) for August!

Lucy & Brian's pretty picnic at Killruddery House and Gardens!

Lucy and Brian are such a lovely couple and where else to go with a lovely couple than to the lovely Killruddery Gardens? I shot an engagement session here last September and thought it was gorgeous. A hidden gem near Bray. So we got a beautiful morning for it and set up a picnic with some yummy treats from the farmers market there. I can't wait for their wedding in July!
Ps. It was Lucy's idea to recreate a pic she online involving heart shaped post its ;) Cute eh?

Jessie & Peter's gorgeous garden love shoot in Wicklow!

Jessie and Peter are tying the knot in July in her parents barn and I cannot wait! These two are great in front of the camera so I can't wait to see them on their wedding day soon!

Eilionoir and Eoin's classy Vintage Dublin City wedding.

I am so in love with this next wedding. I love a good city wedding and I love even more when that wedding couple is as relaxed as Eilionoir and Eoin were. First up was City Hall for the civil ceremony. What an amazing venue for a wedding. A building so steeped in Irish history, you can still see the bullet holes on some of the statues if you look closely. Nowadays however, things are a little different and we get to see beautiful ceremonies and happy memories created in this beautifully designed building.
After the lovely ceremony there was time for a drinks reception in City Hall. We then went for a stroll in Dublin city where we stopped in places for some lovely photo ops. The happy couple went on to Fallon & Byrne to celebrate into the night :) congrats to Eilionoir and Eoin!

4 Fine Foodies, Pop up Supper club!

Those who know me, know I love good food. I love to try new things and taste rich intense flavours. I can't cook to save my life, but I appreciate anyone who can and see it for the art that it is. So! When Hilary from Blas Catering asked me if I'd take some photos of her pop up venture Supper Club in Dublin, I was a made an offer I couldn't refuse! So to explain a little bit, Hilary is part of 4 fine foodies, 4 lovely chef ladies/cookery tutors/bloggers/food stylists, who are setting up supper clubs to share their foody talent with us all. So for a fine fare price, everyone was treated this time to a 5 course meal (and a yummy glass of Prosecco)
The first evening was hosted from 4 Leeson Lane (Lesson Lane Baristas) and went fabulously. I'm drooling thinking about the food. In particular the oh so tender lamb that fell of the bone...(Homer drool noise) Amazing. There was a lovely atmosphere as we all sat together and chatted away. It reminded me of eating family style except with people I didn't know but felt I did, as I rambled on probably a bit too much ;) Anyway! A fab evening was had and I can't wait to see what the girls pop up with next ;)

A little peak into the world of A Room In The Cottage.

Recently, I travelled down to Laois to photograph Michelle, the lovely lady responsible for A Room in the Cottage The idea was to take some detail shots but also a few of Michelle herself. She is so fun to work with and so lovely! Be sure to check out her work. I pretty much wanted everything I saw that day ;)
