2016 in review

Gathering up the last year in photos was always going to be a challenge. It has without a doubt been the busiest year of my career to date and personally, well it's been a whirlwind to say the least. It's only now after 6 months of non stop work that I am beginning to reflect on what has happened. While 2016 globally was a rollercoaster of highs and lows, 2016 in my little world was thankfully, pretty great.

It was the year for travelling the country capturing gorgeous weddings in stunning locations. The year for cocktails, doughnuts and mini trips to Liverpool, NYC and Switzerland. More surprisingly, the year to meet the one who would be exactly who I was looking for while not looking at all, moving home  from Dublin to Wicklow, and getting engaged. Yep, I who was quiet content on being single and enjoying my life as I knew it for the foreseeable future, met someone and as all the clichés go, knew this was it. Why? because there was no drama, no doubting. it just felt right from the beginning. Like meeting an old friend after years and immediately feeling comfortable.

2017 will be the year for a wedding of our own and who knows what else!

I'd like to take the chance to thank every single one of my clients who trusted me to capture their special memories this year. You make it possible for me to do the job I love. To all my family, my new family and all my friends. I love you all you madzers :D I can't wait to celebrate with you all next October!

So in absolutely no particular order, here are some highlights from the year!
